About Kevin Storms
Demonstrating artistic talent at a young age, Kevin would be encouraged to become
an artist.He became an avid student of both American and Natural history and these
subjects became the focus of his artwork.He found also that his hunting and fishing
expieriences were strongly influencing his art.Following the path of Sporting Artists
from earlier times the natural world and the pursuit of game became intertwined with
art.
Later he would meet master Wildlife Artist John Hamberger and became his student.
It was here he would learn the valuable lesson of going to the source and studying the subject matter.To study the masters was also required.
Kevins artwork is a reflection of his personal travels in life from the waterfowling
marshes to the Civil War. Kevin is deeply interested in everything he paints.

The Natural world and Americas past are infinite wells for into which the
Artist may reach and work.The creation of art is a way to understand these things
and to communicate that what can be said of them.
Kevin resides with his wife and family in Pine Bush NY.
